Many thanks to everyone who came out to City Farm this past weekend for the 17th Annual Plant Sale.
It was successful beyond anticipation. Tens of thousands of plant starts went home with 2,010 customers! We’re sure those veggie, fruit, and herb plant starts are getting cozy in your gardens.
More information and photos to come.

Southside Community Land Trust currently manages 11 community gardens in South Providence, home to 220+ families – some gardeners were born and raised on the Southside, many are from Cambodia, Liberia, and other faraway countries.
This coming summer and fall, Southside Community Land Trust will be building out three new community gardens. We’ll keep you updated about our progress. In the meantime, here are a few photos showcasing the hard work that goes into building a community garden.

It’s been a busy week here at Southside Community Land Trust! We are getting ready for the 17th Annual Plant Sale, and we expect it to be bigger and better than ever before.
SCLT’s fantastic volunteers are at City Farm right now helping out Rich, our City Farm Manager, and Than, his apprentice.
In the meantime, here are a few photos from our busy yesterday!
Julia and Than set up the displays, as Rich carries more plant starts in the background.
